The stillness of your shadow
That you barely even show
Your laugh I can remember
I wish I had seen it sooner

The odds of meeting you
The night I turn to go
Barely played your game
I say F.R.I.E.N.D.S is to blame

The music you can listen to forever
Beatles hits soul’s lover
Things may seem to rhyme
But I will leave you with your prime

We met, we talk, I am glad
But the sudden silence made us sad
Space left us jaded
Reality knotted and aided

Too soon to say goodbye
But I will never ask why
Let me leave you with this part
To close a chapter that never starts…

When raindrops fall on me,
Maybe
They’ll wash away the memory
of you and me

So, when raindrops fall on me,
Maybe
You’ll die with the memory
of the person, I thought you’d be
